Shuttle and Intel chipset questions

I've recently begun considering a Shuttle SFF. Call my old-fashioned, but Shuttle still seems to be the best SFF to me. Anyhow, moving on...

I've noticed that Shuttle doesn't have any SFF with a recent AMD chipset (nForce 3 150 only, no 250, Via K8M800, no K8T800). Does anybody know if that's going to change anytime soon? I'd like to get an Athlon64 based Shuttle XPC, but it doesn't seem to be an option...

So, the only option seems to be Intel based XPCs... And so my chipset questiron is this: Is the Intel 875P the current best available P4 chipset? If not, what is?

Let me also throw in a more general question here: What is the best XPC for Intel CPUs? For AMD CPUs?

Err, don't they all have TV out and Silent X PSUs?

I was under the impression that the K8M800 chipset was out of date and that it had been replaced by the K8T800?

Ideally I'd take an nForce 3 250Gb in a Shuttle... but Shuttle seems to be behind in chipsets.

Ionizer, I realize that many other companies have good SFFs on the market, but I can't help but feel that Shuttle, having invented the market, has a leg up.

i think you need to try your other leg , the first ones gone numb...

i have a soltek and a biostar . 1 AMD 1 Intell . both work flawlessly. shuttle has yet to come up with a good way to stealth the drive bays , and that was a major problem for me.

good luck
