shuttle an35n ultra - any known HDD problems?

Lately I've had 2 HDDs go bad on me and I've read some other stories about this happening to other people. Does anyone know of a problem with the an35n ultra and hard drives?

im running a maxtor 160gb and a seagate 160gb with no problems...<3 the an35n...cant beleive their so cheap

I'm running a couple diff HDD's in my AN35N-Ultra. It's been going strong now for a year w/o a problem.

Might wanna check the voltage rails on your PSU too. Use Motherboard Monitor 5 for that.

First I've heard of this. I have 4 drives in my AN35N running fine for about a year, but I did swap the Mustang PS for an Antec True Blue 350W. I don't have any huge load on the PS. Just an XP1800, 1g of DDR, a few fans, the drives and a low end AGP card. It's been a great board. WIsh I had bought a spare when they were so cheap!
