I recently built a system for a friend with this mobo, I used a Mobile AthlonXP 2600+ and set the multiplier to x12 and the FSB to 200, using ddr 400 ram. After about a month of use it would no longer boot, would go to the safe mode screen and if you try to boot it, would just restart again. I thought this could possibly be due to hard drive corruption, but I'm not totally sure about that. That brings me to my question, I thought that this board has PCI/AGP lock on it, but if corruption is the problem, it would appear that the lock isnt working. I was just wondering if there is a way to tell if it's working or not or if anyone had any other ideas of what might have caused the problem.
