Shuttle AK35GT2 or MSI KT3 Ultra???

Which one should i get? They are about the same price.

I think MSI uses the AC97 sound, the Shuttle AK35GT2R uses the C-Media 5.1 Sound card.

I have the AK35GTR, the KT266a version, and love the sound and the Board.

I say shuttle

If you check Anand's review of KT-333 boards, you will see that the KT3 Ultra has:
Onboard Audio Avance Logic ALC650 - 6 Channel , which performs similarly to the Shuttle's on board audio.
I also agree with Jaegger66, MSI makes a fine motherboard. I am pretty sure the KT3Ultra will be my next upgrade.

Well if I got a Board NOW I would get the AK35GT2R.

BUT I am waiting for the KT400 boards.

Don't know if you can wait or not.

Faced the same decision, the MSI wouldn't show up in my cart at Newegg so I got the Shuttle. I'll see how I like it when I get it.

But the Shuttle board I have has been great to me.
