I've read several post stateing that the Shuttle AK35GT2 does not support the 1/5 divider, but while doing a little google searching I found this review that says:
The most important new feature is a new chipset: the VIA KT333. With VIA's latest AMD chipset, 166MHz memory is fully supported (including a 1/5 PCI divider)
.

So, does this mobo handle the 1/5 divider or not???

well in page four of the review it's talking about bumping the boaed up to 166fsb and it says

"And if you remember the 1/5 PCI divider, you know that this kind of speed is really usable because there is no risk of losing data or PCI cards malfunctioning due to the high PCI bus speeds."

so that would lead me to believe that it does in fact have the divider. maybe the posts you read were talking about the AK35GT not the gt2.

Those were probably my posts about the AK35GTR and the 1/5th divider. :) It doesn't have one.

The AK35GTR2 DOES have a 1/5th divider. 166MHz FSB divided by 5 = 33MHz for your PCI slots. :) Thinking about this board myslef. First, i want to see how far I can overclock my XP1800 before things go haywire. I have some PC3200 memory coming in a few days.

Great info guys!

I went ahead and bumped up my FSB before knowing the true facts ;-) and everthing runs great!

1600+ at 2100+ with no issues whatsoever!

gotta love these 1600+'s ;-)
