Shuttle AK32L Motherboard Same as AK31?

I currently own a AK31 rev 3.1 motherboard, and like it a lot, my friend is looking for a new motherboard so i recomended the board to him, but he doesn't want to have to buy new DDR memory to replace his SD memory. So he saw the AK32L on shuttle's website(it supports SD and DDR). I was wondering are these boards pretty much the samething or is there something else different. I was just wondering, becuz I've heard a lot about the AK31 i bought, and there's a lot of reviews for it, but I couldn't find a single thing on the AK32L.

I have the AK32L. I bought it originally because it is both SDR/DDR RAM capable (I had SDRAM for awhile). The one difference between the AK32L and the AK31 is that the AK32L uses the KT266 chipset, while the AK31 uses the KT266A chipset. The KT266 chipset has a bit lower memory performance; however, my board tests right up there with a KT266A according to Sandra 2002 Pro, so it is virtually unnoticeable. The AK32L is a good, stable board at a great price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one to anyone who needs SDRAM support.
