Shuttle AK31a - powers off monitor but won't turn back on?

my AK31a has it's display properties set to turn off the monitor after 45 minutes, but sometimes, it'll turn the monitor off, but never turn it back on when I come back from idle!

Anyone else experience that problem? any fixes?
