so...I just unplugged it.

I should be okay without it right? The chipset has a heatsink on it already, the fan was just for extra cooling right?

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement fan for it?

I got one from Shuttle by emailing their tech support with an address I found on OC Workbench Shuttle forum. It's been a while and I did not save the emails though. I did a quick check just now and found the following that might help:
"I have not removed the fan yet but have read where others have. I have the same problem and read in a differnt FAQ forum about E-Mail Henry lin at Shuttle. I did and he is sending me a new fan no questions asked. just include your mailing address and date of purchase. here is his E-mail addrees. henryl@shuttlela.com "
There are numerous posts of folks that have removed theirs and not replaced it, with no apparent problems. Or you could just get something like a blue orb or any "generic" chipset fan.
That board is notorious for this "problem" BTW. :(

Take it off and the sticky stuff that holds it on. No problem running OC 150mhz fsb on one of my systems and others have done the same with no problema.
