Shuttle AK31, Version?

To anyone who can help,

I have a Shuttle AK31 MB that I would like to flash to the latest BIOS. However, I am not certain which version of board I have. The "Production BIOS" sticker located on top of the Game Port reads "AK31S2E9" which is indictive of a Version 3.1 board. However, the "Board Version" number as stenciled in the upper left corner reads "AK31V20" which indicates a Version 2.0 board. I want to use the correct upgrade and not damage my board. I'm certain this board is a KT-266a board.

What version do I have?

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.

thats interesting. I know there is a big dif in motherboard versions - the tracework on back is radically changed for better circuit path/grounding.

theres only two conclusions one can draw from this:
a.) the wrong sticker was placed on mobo for prod bios - this can be checked at bootup by seeing on splash screen if thats the one IN the BIOS chip.
b.) they feel at factory that V3.0 bios is better for all board versions.

if you are certain it's kt266a, then it's version 3.0. Disregard the version number on the PCB, because the board you have used to be version 2.0, then shuttle just upgraded the board to version 3.0 when kt266a came out to save money on reprinting PCBs. There should have been a golden sticker on top of version 2.0 indicating it's version 3.0, I guess yours must have been removed. Anyway, you should use the ak31 3.0 bios. I have the exact same board, it's running just fine.
