Shuttle AK31 Ver2 Starts & then freezes

This is the second system I have put together with the Shuttle AK31 vr2 board. The first had a 1 gig processor and this one uses a 1,3 gig AMD Anthlon thunderbird processor. Both use 128 mb ddr memory, pci sound card, 300 power supply. The first went together pretty smoothly.

When I start up the present board it freezes before I can do anything in the bios or format the hard drive. It seems that if I shut it down and then start it up again immediatly , it freezes at an earlier point than it did before but if I wait a while, it freezes at a later point.

I have swapped the memory between the two boards but it does not seem to be the problem. The memory moduals work in one board but not the other.

Does any one have ideas about where to go with this?

3 letters...RMA <edit> ok...you say you have two of the exact same boards...one running ..this one not...try moving your working components over to the nonworking board and seeing if the board needs the first 3 letters I posted
