ok more problems. the pc sometimes won't fully boot. it hangs at:

Updating ESCD ...
Verifying DMI Pool Data ....

Then it hangs with a flashing cursor below the verifying DMI pool data and the floppy drive light is on. Seems to happen after I install some program or update to the OS.

any ideas?? do i have a power supply or mobo problem?? if so i need to RMA this mobo in like 3 days. can you please help.

also having problems installing programs and trying to reboot with CD in the CD-ROM drive. the system won't even start to boot.

Antec SX830 w/ 300 watt ps

lol. yes. i have tried many times.

everything seems to be working ok now. i cleared the CMOS, reformatted and reinstalled the OS. so far no hangs...
