Dear Shuttle Support
I am in the process of buying a processor for this motherboard. I have researched many web references to prescott Pentiun 4 and this motherboard.
They are conflicting with the manual page 25.
One of the web community sites say a bios upgrade will allow prescott use?
Is this true? I would like to use a 3.0 G but most I see are prescott.
I like many other purchasers (who don't already have a processor yet) would like to know. And how to tell the difference when we buy a processor if it is compatible? (Northwood or Prescott or Willmanette )
Your site:

Remark Says:
Willamette/Prescott/Celeron D processor are not supported.
Manual clearly states Socket 478 :CPU Socket for Pentium 4 Northwood/Prescotte processors
Page 25
Please Help
Thanks
