Are all the capacitors on the motherboard totall flat? Bad caps is a pretty common problem that makes motherboards give all kinds of different symptoms, and often the problem pops up at random times until the caps get really puffed up and it doesn't work at all.

I had a Shuttle SV-24 that I had to replace 6 of the caps when it would randomly crash. Then a year later it started corrupting the video at random times and I had to replace the rest of them.
