shutdown problem....

I have Win98SE OS and whenever i shut down a message on a black screen appears, "Locate free PCI resources for Creative Audio card. Press any key to continue." It will not shutdown down by itself without hitting a key to continue. It has been like this since the very beginning when i built and installed all the software. Any suggestions to fix this?

Win98SE never shuts down correctly. At my office we have about 50 comuters using it and all them freeze at the "Please wait..." screen. These are brand new Dell computers having this problem and the patches from MS DON'T work (surprise!!).

I haven't seen the message asking to locate free PCI resources, but my money says that MS is to blame and not bad drivers or the like.
