Shutdown in Win2k Causes Computer to Restart

When I select shutdown from the start menu it restarts instead. I checked the power manageent properties in the BIOS and OS, but it looked ok. Any ideas?


 
i remember there is a key in the registry if you set it to on(i have tried it), it will make the computer restart when you choose shutdown. but don't remember what the key is. you may want to search around to see if you find it. good luck.
