My mom's computer has been having some unusual popups with recommended downloading of 3rd part software... So I've tried to run AdAware on it, and about 30 sec into running ad aware it identifies 3 modules and them the computer shuts down. This only happens in AdAware after the three modules are found and I get a BSoD with error code
STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0x00000000 0x00000000).
The system has been shut down.
I tried running AdAware in safe mode with the same results.
Any Ideas anyone?
