Looks like this is the way it will go from the two sides for the duration of the election.
I don't know who started it, but this is going to become "the new big thing".
There will be an organized effort on both sides to get out the protest for opponents every upcoming public campaign speaking event. Don't be surprised if "the protestors" do not become the only election campaign event news story reported by the media from here on out.
The media won't waste time reporting on what the candidate actually said, but only on how big and loud the protestors were at the event.
So much for anyone relying on the media to cover what was actually said by either candidate, that won't make news. The news the media will drool at the mouth over will be that daily "drown-out the candidate" protest.
Just wait and see....
And as this fad catches on and becomes the major daily news media cover story, we the poor sap voting public sitting at home will no longer hear one single reliable word reported on what the candidate had actually said. If there are not loud public event protests, the media will have no interest beyond that.
So you know what that means?
All the hard information we will hear about the candidate will come only from those super pack gutter TV ads. The media will become the "enabler" to fill your homes with your only source of election information... super pack funded TV ads 24/7.
And thus completing the circle, granted by the US Supreme Court, with allowing a very few wealthy unknown individuals to buy elections from now on and forever more.
Our news media? Reduced to nothing more than tabloid rags.
Million dollar super packs all set to reap full benefit for their few and unknown investors.
And average Joe the voter? Slaughter of the lambs sweet and simple.....
Richard Nixon would be so proud.
QUAKERTOWN, Penn. -- Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney did a switcheroo Saturday afternoon – moving his early afternoon event from one gas station to another in the same town.

On the second day of the “Every Town Counts” bus tour, Romney was scheduled to appear at a Quakertown Wawa, but more than 100 protesters gathered before Romney's planned arrival. With no explanation to the press, the campaign switched venues as the motorcade was en route and diverted everyone a couple miles away to another Wawa store.
This was just the latest confrontation in the ongoing scuffles between the two sides politically this campaign season.
Just about two weeks ago while President Barack Obama's senior campaign adviser, David Axlerod, was in Boston -- where Romney's campaign headquarters is located -- massive amounts of anti-Obama protesters drowned out his speech.
