There is a $10 off $95 email coupon out there today as well as a $10 off $75 that may still be good. I doubt they are stackable though.

Nice Price Condor. However, I don't think I could get over putting used earplugs in my ears.

Ebay and many other forums like these have people selling them. And he might have meant cheap in comparison. Buying the foams from shure and cheap used e4cs are still a lot cheaper than retail boxed ones.

The ones I got are new. They get overstocks and such too.

IMO, these sound thin and gutless without an amp out of an iPod. While very detailed, the bass is extremely lacking even in a quiet environment, making their performance on the go unsatisfactory. Personally, I prefer the Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 5 Pros - they can be had at Gateway for 195 shipped - much fuller and more musical sound to my ears.

I did some research on this.. ipod's substandard headphone subsection seems to be the cluprit. e4c reportedely have great synergy with many other DAPs known for superior sound quality. I would personally go for super.fi's based on opinion's alone, but e4c's are better phones in terms of refinement, tonal balance and lack of bass bloat from what I have concluded. I must have read about detailed accounts from at least 50 different people, so while it really isnt worth anything compared to hands-on experience, it does mean something.
