Shure E2C vs Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3

Does anyone have any experience with either these canal phones? They are both exactly the same price at Dell and I need to get rid of a coupon that is about to expire. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a head to head comparison between the two online.

Thanks!

not that I heard about "Ultimate Ears" before, but their earphones are twice lighter, slightly lower impedance and have better sensitivity (115dB vs. 105 dB) then Shures. I would give them a try, although Shure is most defenitely brand most people trust.

Ultimate Ears make some of the most high end earphones. Go to a website like head-fi.org to find out. From what I have read either one is a good buy. Try them both out, but I believe Ultimate Ears were recommended slighly more than the Shure or Etymotic's.

I've been doing a lot of research on these two (and other similar IEMs) recently, and so far what I've found is that the super.fi 3 is generally considered to be better than the E2c. If I were able to get one of those two without having to order from the US, I would definitely get the Ultimate Ears. Sadly, I can't, so I'll probably wind up with the E2c.

Anyways, definitely check out head-fi.org. There's lots of very experienced people there who can help you pick out the right one.
