Pardon me I know this has been around since the 80's/90's, but just found this style of dancing on YouTube and didn't know it was still a thing. It seems like a teen girl/young woman activity although guys do this as well. I tried a few moves and damn near fell over. Is a 44 y/o male way too old to start dancing this way? I do need to start exercising however.

I'm really in bad shape and can't dance at all.:(

This is a pretty rave culture / EDM thing. You'll always find them hanging out somewhere. Youtube/instagram has popularized it a lot since every girl can setup a camera, wear no clothes, and video themselves doing it and get hits.

Start with the chicken dance. It's easy, and everyone loves the chicken dance!

Strange as this may sound, I have never been in a nightclub or went to a concert.

Anyone else wanting to learn to shuffle dance? The dance mix music doesn't sound to bad at all. but I never got into it when I was younger. Like I said I need to get some exercise and this type of dancing seems like a fun way to get some.

I have zero interest in dancing of any kind. If I wanted exercise, I'd find something useful to do, or interesting to see. Paddling a canoe or rowing is good exercise, and you can see bits of the world most people don't get to see.

This will be in addiction to riding my bike.

As someone who exercises regularly and has for years, I can tell you that the VR game Beat Saber is a legit workout and is a fun one at that. You have to get good enough to play on expert for it to become a 'real' exercise but I can tell you that after about 4 songs I am sweating pretty hard, and after about 7-8 songs I'm dripping sweat.

After watching half this video I think I'm getting it, it's in the heels:
I was just at Domino's waiting on a pizza and doing that with my feet.

Dont do it man! I used to be able to jumpstyle with the mediocre of them back in the day and I can kind of do it for about half or a quarter of a song now. Hi energy young peoples dance is for young people!

Pick something a bit less likely to break a hip!
