Got a Western Digital D30 XBox game drive recently for $50. I read Online it is shuckable for a bare, unlabeled WD Blue sn550e, and I found this to be accurate. Retail value for a Blue sn550e is around $90. Here's my quick tutorial on how to free it from it's plastic!
Remove the 4 torx screws from the side of the drive with the printing.

Use a spudger tool at the notched portion of the base where the white plastic base attaches to pry off the black plastic piece with the print on it. Remove the 3 phillips head screws and then lift up by the green PCB to bring up the drive with it.

There's some super sticky goo holding the drive on to the green PCB. Thankfully there aren't any components on the back of the NVME drive, so I was able to use the flat side of my spudger to break the interface. I snapped off the long, thin portion of the PCB to make it easier to get to.
