.shs off of digicam...plz help!

Friend of mine had some pics on his digi cam and when he dragged and dropped them off they are all .shs extensions. I am unable to get them to be viewed even if i try renaming the file in dos. He already deleted them off of the camera so we have no other copy then these .shs files. They are all about 16mb to, is there anyway to get these viewable? thanks

A user had an old logo in the format of .shs, and needed to view it / convert it. Two recommendations were given:
1) Drap and drop into Word
2) Use IfranView

Maybe that'll do it. I had an old Kodak digicam, and it used a proprietary storage format. Someone wrote a C prog that I had to use to convert the pics to more useful formats.
