They can decimate a reef tank. They will kill any and every animal in the tank (outside of corals). They generally don't wander too far. They'll just hang out in their hidey hole and whallop anything that comes close.
Supposedly very smart as well.

reminds me of that crazy worm thing that was posted a few months ago that can "permanently numb" a person's arm. it was also a coral pest as well. these are all reasons why i'd keep a freshwater tank over a salt one!!!!!
