VANNS.COM currently has two Panasonic ShowStoppers (PV-HS2000) (ReplayTV) for 299.77. These are customer returns, clearance items. They say complete so I would assume they come with box and UPC so you can get the $100 rebate. (I would ask!) They come with a full manufacturers warranty. This is the 30 hour one. I just got one a little over a month ago and love it!!!

Nice deal... Just ordered one. They said it had the full box (with UPC) so the rebate should work out fine.

Only one more left

Just be careful, Panasonic may not allow the rebate IF the unit has been previously registered to another individual. Just something to make sure. Search www.avsforums.com for more on this.

Otherwise, this is a killer deal! :) I love my ReplayTV's (HS-1000/HS-2000)

Just bought the last one. Hopefully everything will be in the box as promised. Is there a website(s) I can go to for reviews and hacking of this recorder?

Please note one rebate per address-- I got burned on this when I bought my second one.

After ordering yesterday and getting 3 emails that it went to shipping in 60 minutes, I got a call today and was told: "Oops, we made a mistake. The model you ordered was really banged up and we can't sell it to you. So sorry, but we will credit your credit card." I guess it's time to check the credit card carefully for any unusual charges....:(

lizardboy -- nice site. Maybe I will use your instructions one day :). I certainly will not be buying from the guy on ebay who sells the upgrades, as he banned me after I had the audacity to question his charging $5 shipping on an IR Blaster that he had an opening bid of 95 cents for (and which someone else was charging $1 shipping for).

I have had my ReplayTV for a week now (open box at Best Buy, $275 for 30 hour) and I agree, it rocks. It's absolutely great. I am sorry I didn't buy it sooner. To answer an earlier post: Panasonic *will* pay rebates without a UPC if the receipt says open box. But just make sure that the rebate hasn't been paid on that serial number yet. In my case as it was a floor model, if the rebate HAS been paid, I will get the name of the person it was paid to and pay a visit to the BB store and find said employee and have the manager credit me the $100.

Thanks Lizardboy! Added you to my list of ReplayTV web sites. I love this thing! Anyone who finds an open box at a good price should pick it up. My wife was not on board when I bought mine until she discovered how easy it is to watch her "All My Chiildren" now. No more trying to figure out what show is where on what tape. She loves it now too!!
