Yeah, don't watch Lost cause it may make you a Christian!

I know that I spent most of last season's "24" slapping my forehead and asking god how it could be so awful...

Which god? Cause if it was Shiva, you were barking up the wrong tree.

actually, I take my previous comment back.

Sorry, you're still an baseless-indignant, self-righteous troll.

Fixed. I can't confirm the previous statement, but this one I can guarantee.

That would explain why it never got any better :D

While watching Lost, I seem to notice this show has a Christian push moreover than them dealing with Charlie and stuff. :Q

...And?

It's offensive. We get enough religion everwhere else, without having it contaminate our entertainment too.

It's offensive? 70% of the world is religious in one form or another.

Are you offended that they're are also *gasp* girls on the show? Or men? Or asians? Or a fat guy? Or a bald guy? Or an Iraqi?

Man, you must live in a constant state of agitation with all this "stuff" being forced on you through a TV show.
Nevermind, I didn't read well enough :p

Like everything else... if someone gets offended, they can just NOT watch it.

Dont believe gay is acceptable... change the channel. Don't sit and watch Will and Grace and complain.
Dont like religion... change the channel. Dont like foreign languages...dont watch Univision.

Simple really.

...And?

It's offensive.** We get enough religion everwhere else, without having it contaminate our mindless entertainment too.

**I'm going to change my choice of wording here, and describe it as boring (for the most part) as opposed to offensive.

So don't watch it?

Just needed to fix that for you since there are many of "you guys" that do change the channel when nudity comes on the TV. I also change it for language and violence. Is it ruining America? Well, it's not helping, but it's not exactly taking it down single-handedly.

It's the video games taking America down singlehandedly, of course.

You have every right to be displeased with the fact they put religion into one of your shows. Just like they had the right to put it in there. And like Christians have a right to be displeased with the way things like sex are thrown into their entertainment.

Appreciate the freedom we've got that anything can be broadcast, and appreciate the capitalism that makes your dollars have a say in what gets broadcast.

Cliffs: If you don't like it, turn it off.

In regards specifically to Lost, I think they are just painting a portrait of life. If there was no mention of religion on the show I would be very skeptical. Its part of real life, and would most likely be especially prominent after all the things they went through. If you were trapped on that island and you never saw a single person pray, or question their faith, or find religion, or anything like that, it just wouldnt make sense. You may not like that they had religion, but I man not like it when they say "hitten' that". thats life though.
