I'm sure it's because he disagreed with a mod somewhere, either in mod guise or not...i wouldn;t suppose thats the official justification, though

mods were probably waiting for him to slip up, especially after his AT trollhunters comments. he went from village-idiot to hated-village-idiot pretty quickly.

Even better, edit your HOSTS file to have this entry:

forums.anandtech.com subscriber.anandtech.com

Then you can click on subscriber links and it'll automagically work!
