Shower curtain liner?

Was walking by Dollar Tree, and saw a shower curtain liner.

What's that? what is it used for? no longer need shower curtains?

the inside part is the liner, the outside part is the curtain
the liner hangs down inside the tub, the curtain hangs down outside the tub

if you have a shower stall, then this doesn't apply

link? We have 2. One goes inside the tub and is stronger, and the other is decorative and hangs outside the tub. Maybe the inside one is a "liner"

Yup. The inside one is waterproof and hangs inside the tub. The outside one is often stationary and hangs outside the tub. Its not waterproof.

All we use is a liner. No fancy stuff in our bathroom.. or the rest of the house for that matter.

What does that have to do with this? A shower curtain liner is entirely utilitarian. You need one (or a door) to prevent water damage.
