Fave app? There's a couple, but even though I don't use it much I'd say Shazam is the best. If you don't know what it is, it listens to about 15 seconds of a song that's playing and tells you what it is and who plays it.

Other than that I love having Pandora on me at all times, iShoot is great even for the free version (I may buy full pretty soon)
