Show your video cards

Nothing particularly remarkable, just the stock coolers. These pictures are about a month old but happen to contain the cards (needed something to do while the computer was running through Prime95, so I took some shots).

in that last shot it looks like you only have one of the ends for the 6 pin adaptor plugged in.

Why arent they both plugged in? curious

I was a little short on molexes as I couldn't remember where I had kept the last cable for that Modstream PSU (which I wasn't using on my old configuration). The GTs don't need the second connection anyway; it's mainly for more power hungry cards.

Because it acts as a splitter: 1 in 1 out. In other words, PSU -- 1st splitter --> to videocard (6pin) --> from videocard 6 pin to splitter out.

Nice job! Comp looks really tidy!

As for myself, my cam is broken for the moment... 🙁

Thanks, I like to keep the wires out of the way. If I could find some longer black IDE/SATA cables I could do even better. :/

Nice rig Ackmed, what case is that?

Lian Li V2000.

KeepItRed, I see you have a DFI board.. I changed just because of that dang chipset fan. :/

2x BFG 7800GTX's, with NV Silencers on them.

Nice pictures, excellent cable management.

Just out of curiosity, what camera did you use?

Looks like a Fuji FinePix 3800 from the Pic info (F/2.8 at 1/2 second exposure ISO-100)

I concur, thats a beautiful rig Ackmed:thumbsup:

Its an old (3 year or so) Fujifilm Finepix 3.3meg digicam.

edit, thats amazing that you knew that rbv5. You are spot on. Can you read my fortune next?

P160
P160
P160

As we speak, I'm buying a new case for this box (I've ditched the Shark, too, because I don't like the aesthetics).

Armor

That's what I'm buying (I already have 2, but they're in use for other things), and I've found I like the setup quite a bit...it's roomy, allows me to spread out the HDs for breathing room, and also allows for more HD mounting (where the P160 is pretty much maxed out, as you can see).

The cards are unmodded (there's no reason to mod them), but I'm slightly unhappy with the 1/2 (if that) clearance between the two.

LOL, I wish. Its amazing how much info is avalable embedded in jpg photos. Although I doubt you took the shot jan 15 2002@ 7:18 PM 😉...looks like you didn't set the date with your camera way back when.

Check the pic's summary property sheet. I noticed I've shot 9,994 pics with my sony digicam over the last 3 years.

Weird how some cameras actually show the fans in motion, while others show them at a stop. Clean look, otis.

That case looks familiar, btw 😉 (mine's just more stuffed).

Very interesting looking case there Ronin. Looks to be pretty flexible.

Oh, silly me. I didnt reset the date, after I put the batteries back in. I have 4xAA that I recharge to use in the camera. It always asks me to set the date, I just hit OK and go on.

Is that the case without all of the holes in it? I have a v2100b and I'm curious to know what your cpu temps are like, if that is the one. Mine were horrible.

My temps are great. Here is a pic of my temp and overclock. There are two CPU-Z's open because I ment to show my CPU info with one, and my memory info with the other, but forgot to hit the memory tab before I hit prt scr... Its running at 3-3-3-8, lower than its rated for. Here is a pic of the overall case and yes it is the case with all the holes in it.
