I've been playing random team / 2v2 / 3v3 games, and I think solo is better tactically. I mean dear god... there are some pretty freakin stupid people on random team games.

word. 30 of my losses are because i am unable to compensate for the nubness of my teammates.

My record is about 55% wins in about 30 games. About half of my losses due to disconnects of *multiple* partners, often leaving me in a 1v3 or 2v4 situation. Also some losses to "smurfs", level 1-3 players who beat level 4-7 players. Some of the losses were against better players though. I think I am an average player so far.

Yeah, I hate the fact that disconnects (mostly caused by bnet) count as loses.

lolyourface will u train me? I'm alright at 1v1's, like 20-5 but I blow a d1ck at team games...for some reason we can't figure it out. I was awesome at war2...
I think part of the problem is I'm playing on a machine so slow I can't do any micro..in a slow battle I'm lucky if I can move my mouse...so I just kind of hotkey chain lightning and click around randomly. Or sometimes when the damn lappy gets too hot buildings and units dissappear to the point where I can only see a little bit of the tops of their heads....
But besides that...I still blow...I don't know all the units for other races and I don't know what to use in what situation

seems like once I get to lvl 7 I start gettin waxed...they start matchin me w/ lvl 12's and I don't have a chance...kinda blows

Only way you get better =) Those lvl12s aren't scary at all. By the time you reach lvl 7 you should have enough experience to match up with those lvl12s. Maybe you're not using the mercs to your full advantage? Or is it that you don't expand quick enough. Those harrassing attacks works wonders too.

half my losses you can chalk up to bnet or my cable, the other half you can chalk up to bad team partners, and 1 or 2 were being out played (granted i haven't played more than 20 games)

I was once rank 63 on US West Random Team, level 15. Thats all I wanted, top 100, so then I started messing around on it trying different strategy and dropped. For now, my account I play on is 4-0. Gr1mL0cK. I'm okay solo (its not as fun to me) and I usually play 3v3. I think I'm pretty darn good (I've played with and against several top 50 players and I've held my own) although I'm sure I'm not as good as them.

I dont' liek the bad partner argument because it happens to everyone. Some jsut more than others which you cant really prove....

The problem is I got to lvl 7 by either shaman rushing or towering...I'm not really a good player and I don't know what to do...I just have 2 pretty decent strats I can pull off against a lot of people...but once I start playin the higher level guys it doesn't work heh
