Killer entertainment setup. I gotta make a few changes to mine and snap some pictures when I get a chance. I just need a new TV stand and a few other small things to make this look good. Of course, I don't have a crazy system like that, haha.. but for an 18 year old, it ain't half bad.

I'm envious of that, though. What did it cost you, for the audio equipment, projector and screen? If you had to estimate.

Projector can be had for ~$1000 now (Panasonic AE900U) I spent about $1500 on my own during the summer.

Screen was $175 to make

Audio was... well... lots. Maybe about $5500 for the speakers + subs + pre-pro + amp

Add in a few hundred for other things = ~$7500

Stand is an old computer desk.
Denon system was from the flea market (2.1 =( )
TV was a gift from my dad.
I bought the xbox myself (although gf got me the hd dvd drive)
 
$5500 on audio? Holy crap, you sir... are a junkie, haha. I've got a basic 5.1 home theatre system that cost me like ~$300 and it sounds great. I can't possibly imagine how terrific that setup must sound.

Well, looks like mines not half bad then. I've got a nice home theatre, a 32'' LCD with a 22'' with my rig and I've got all the PS3, Wii, 360 - all that good stuff. I need to get some pics of it, it's not bad at all - and I could use some suggestions on how to set it all up, if anyone wanted to input. Geez, you were a messy kid huh? :laugh:
 
When I purchase this I'll either update this post in the thread or post a new one. Will probably purchase that TV in 2 weeks unless I decide on another one.

Man, I really need to catch up with the times. I'm in college using...
-27in. Flat screen Sony TV

-Original Xbox(though it is modded)

-Currently no surround sound, although a buddy of mine who is pretty savvy at this sort of thing is going to hook me up with his old set up for free. 🙂

My camera is being uncooperative at the moment so no pics.
 
These pics are from before I moved. I've since taken down the screen, and just use the wall. The wall has a nice paint on it so it doesn't affect color.

I built a table to house all my components, since then I got a Wii and a Xbox360
The 360 Sits behind the couch, along with my speaker amp (read Logitech Z-680s)
The PC to control everything has 4 SD tuners, and 1 HD tuner. It runs coax out and has DDL. The projector is an AE-700 (the one right under YoyoYo's) and my apartment is no where near as messy as these pics.

When I get home I'll take some better updated pics. Unfortunately it doesn't look as nice as it did, because the Xbox died, so we just took it out of the table, and put a digital cable reciever in its place. I got a IR system selector, and put the Wii where the old one is in the pictures. It still looks good, but it's no where near as custom as it was.
