I guess it's also a shameless brag post. :)

My desktop

Desktop2 (Plenty of desktop space)

Desktop3 (Lost Coast with max settings @ 1920 x 1080)

Desktop4 (My room for context. The small size of keyboard shows how big the screen is.)

Westinghouse 37" HDTV/LCD 1080p running at 1920 x 1080
Boston Acoustics BA4800 4.1 system
Intel Xeon dual-core at 3Ghz, Quadro FX4500, 4gb RAM

I don't think the pictures do justice how big that 37" is, especially when you're sitting 2' away from it. It literally towers over me. My HDTV tuner arriving soon and it'll double up as HDTV as well.

Edit: yea I suck at linking- fixed.

I'm not even going to bother posting mine... it's so weak. I just have my little 18" monitor, and I've only got one. I don't need a 37" monitor to peruse myspace.....

Mine

Nothing too exciting. Although I can say that I did pick up a Antec P180 and chucked that piece of crap case in the picture. Also got my nicer chair and speakers back since. :)

I have to admit, it's not as comfortable since it's way too big. I actually miss the comfy 22". 37" was not an instant love like jumping from 19" to 22".

I do think I'll get used to it. It's awesome to watch hulu or TV from back of the room.

Not quite this bad.

Close, but not quite.
It's not so much that I'm obsessive or compulsive about hoarding. It's just that I'm lazy.:)
And I don't exactly have guests over very often, so there's not much incentive to "invest" time in cleaning up. At least I don't have food decaying everywhere, and I've yet to see a single cockroach in more than a year of living here.

yeah, emphasis on BACK of room lol

I think 27 or 30 is pushing the boundaries of comfort for a monitor that is constantly 12-20" away from you

I have dual 19" LCD's and a nice Ikea Jerker desk but pretty much never touch it since I use my laptop all the time.
