There isn't much to show off. It hits just hard enough for me to enjoy it without pissing off everyone around me.

I don't have any pics, but it's just a simple Pioneer CD/MP3 head unit (DEH-7600MP) with the stock front speakers (for now) and the rear 6x9's replaced with ones that are a little better. :p

My old setup:
here (it hit, hard)

EDIT: Custom birch box built by myself + father

Those subs are 4 12" AudioMobile EVO's which are next to impossible to get your hands on. They were built by a small custom fab shop in CA for about 3 years.

Alpine headunit thanks for CR

Very nice set of speakers, not sure exactly which though, dad went and got some really nice ones a year or two before I got the car.

Wow, awesome man!

I ended up selling that system (car got broke into but the idiots couldn't move a bolted down ~200 pound box very far) and actually made about $20 more than I paid for them off the subs. I bet now, since they're more rare, eBay would fetch a great price. I hate selling them now though...never heard a sub that sounded so clean ever since. Always wanted to hear a MASS...keep it!

Alpine Type-R 12" Sub

Text

That thing that is sitting right on top of the sub slides over my entire back so it covers everything. Right infront of the sub underneath my carpet is my amp and cap. It was a perfect fit, there is this plastic dip where a first aid kit was stored. I bought it used and it never came with the kit so It was a perfect space for the amp and cap. The carpet hides it.

Soon to come is an Alpine Sirius tuner to hook up to my HU...its in the mail. :)

Nothing to brag about or really to "show off" but it gets the job done. ;)

EDIT: Oh, and I have Infinity components in the front and regular 6" x 9" in the back.

The box is a custom fiberglass enclosure (Dont think I needed to point out its custom). The amp has been replaced with a Kicker one now.

woulda been better if the sub had been placed in the small area near the side instead of on the floor, but nice job

mines all stock w/ no pics.

need to figure out where all the speakers are etc and how it is amplified. i believe its a 9 spk setup.

I have the following in my 1990 240sx.
Alpine CDA-7995 Head Unit.
Alpine 1000 watt Amp for sub
Alpine 4 ch amp for Front/Rear speakers.
Infinity Perfect 12.1 sub
Infinity Perfect 6.1 speakers for front.
Infinity 3-way speakers for the back.

I used to have a Pioneer 7600MP but that got stolen when some jerk broke into my car and tore off the dash panel. I got all that replaced with the above.

It was a thought, but overall, wanted to leave the car intact as much as possible for later if I go to sell it (which prob wont be for a long while). And honestly, I dont think my skills are up to par to do it, that is my first fiberglass enclosure Ive made.

Bone stock. Sounds good enough for classic and alternative rock. I don't need loud, brain rattling bass. The six disc MP3/CD changer is nice too.
