Anyone remember the Value America coupons? I remember it to be like $100 off a $200 purchase? I got a 17" Viewsonic CRT that was like $250 for like $120 or something ridiculous.

I didn't work for a dot bomb, but I do work for the company that took over Webvan's main building here in the Bay Area (Oakland). It's crazy how much left over Webvan stuff there still is there.

Waht kind of stuff? I still see the trucks, with the logo half-painted-over floating around Chicago.

Did you watch the movie Startup.com? I watched that as part of a technology entrepreneurship class. It was very amusing to watch.

I kind of wish I could buy my groceries on the intraweb. It would allow me to spend even more time in my dank cave, away from the harsh yellow face that burns us.

It was a pretty accurate film about the dot com experience. If I saw my business partner today I'd beat him without mercy. I guess those two are still friends, however.

Should ask who here owned a dot.bomb. 🙂 I'm sure there's a few around here.
