Show of hands for dead DIMM's

Can we please have a show of hands for anyone out there who's ever had a dead DIMM (mine was PC1600 DDR 256MB) out of the box. I'd like to get a handle on how often this happens, just to see if I'm dead unlucky or not

Should have added, just for interest of course , that mine was made by Crucial.

64MB PNY from CompUSA a few months ago (free after rebate). Two of the edge connector contacts had solder splached on them and seemed to have been shorted previously. The CompUSA store manager saw nothing wrong with this because the DIMM tested OK in his machine.

I got a 64 mb pc66 ram going bad a few weeks ago, after more than 3 years in use! Other than that not a single piece of ram going bad
