i have a laptop with a 40 gig drive, and i only recently hit near the limit. meh

i need a usb drive for this thing anyway

I have quite a few drives, but they're all older/smaller

1x 120gb (desktop)
1x 80gb (desktop)
1x 60gb (desktop)
1x 40gb (laptop)
1x 20gb (desktop)
1x 13gb (shop computer)

5.06 terabytes

Wow, I didn't realize how much I had :Q Spread out across a variety of systems though. But dang...

Assuming I ever get the other new Seagate working, I'll have 900 gigs over 2 drives on here...eventually pick up a 150GB Raptor and then another 600GB on the old box. Storage is so cheap that it's not really a big deal anymore.

Backing up your computers, multimedia storage, etc. For computers, I keep hard drive clones, regular data backups, and software ISOs/zip packs on the server; for multimedia I keep videos, music, games, and photos. A terabyte backup drive (2x500gb) from Lacie is only $275 now, so why not...
