Show me the apps!

I'm still getting used to this phone and need some suggestions on what it can do.

So what are your must have Android apps?

The ones I'm using most are:

• BBC iplayer for watching TV when works slow.
• CoPilot Live for car sat nav stuff (although the stock google app is not bad)
• JuiceDefender Ultimate, I'm on 17hours and my battery is at 40% :awe:
• Opera Mobile for internet
• Quick boot for booting to recovery to do backups.
• Root explorer for deleting stuff I otherwise couldn't.
• Tapatalk for dicking around on forums
• WHS phone for accessing my WHS shared folders.
• World newspapers for...well newspapers
• Fede's music app, Its a zune clone and has lots of eyecandy.
• Stupid Zombies/Majesty/Dungeon Hunter 2 for killing time.

Which phone do you have?

HTC Desire with Android 2.3.3.

The performance boost over 2.2 was quite impressive.

Dungeon Hunter 2 HD was pretty laggy on 2.2 but runs lovely on 2.3.

I'm really impressed with the Zune app, I'm not sure it does anything that other players don't do but does look nice.

TV Shows Stream <--This one blew me away

One app that seems to be missing from everyone's list is Sony's Crackle. Lots of free streamed TV shows (Seinfield, Married with Children, Three Stooges, anime, etc.) on there and movies (Big Daddy, 21, Ghostbusters 2, The Karate Kid, etc) as well. Think Hulu style app but only with Sony owned studio releases.

I am not an android fanboy but I would recommand you to download facebook and twitter client.

I use the built in FriendStream in Sense. I just use it for facebook and flickr, I could see it getting a bit busy for twitter as well.


Any one else using the unofficial Zune app?
