Show Desktop problem

So i accidently deleted my Show Desktop.scf file (the one in the quick launch)....and I found site such as this to get it back:

http://windowsxp.mvps.org/ShowDesktop.htm

I first tried Method 2, but everytime I clicked it I got the Please Choose which Program to open this with, and i had to choose Windows Explorer.

So i re-deleted it and tried Method 1, but I still get the same results, it wants me to choose what program to open it with everytime!
Also the check box for choosing this program everytime for this type of file is greyed out so I cant choose it.

Anyone know how to rememdy this?

yeah i dont understand why windows would suddently do this. When i first deleted it, someone sent me the file and it worked just fine, then i think i deleted it a second time (clicking on properties too fast and hitting delete or something, im not sure what I did)

What about right clicking on a blank area on the taskbar and selecting "Show Desktop"?

that and windows key + d work fine but id like to one-button click thing to work also.

it stares at me, mocking me in its silence :disgust:
