Show Desk top Icon

Hey everyone, my wife was using the computer a few days ago and somehow deleted the showdesk top icon on my task bar. And for the life of me I cant seem to find it anywhere.

Anyone know how to get it back or to make a new one?

you'll have to copy it over from another comp. it's happened to me several times and i couldnt find any other method of recovering it. if you want a copy of it, pm me ur email. i always keep it in my system since it happens to me often.

Right clik on taskbar select properties. On the taskbar tab check show quick launch icon. If its not visible now then open explorer and make sure show hidden files is enabled. Navigate to documents and settings\your name\application data\microsoft\internet explorer\quick launch. Open quick launch folder and create a shortcut for show desktop and drag it into the quick launch area.

I have tried that, it is complety gone as far as I can tell, I will just have to do what Mik3y said.

you do realize that Windows Key +D, does that exact same thing dont you

You can also do a search for show desktop and it comes up
