Shoveling snow makes you a King!

I was shoveling snow outside of the pharmacy I work at today(Taylor Pharmacy), and the response was unanimous! Shoveling/ridding of ice makes you a hero. The repsonse from the people was great. Even the most bitchiest regular customers were complimenting me.
"You're doing a great job"
"Keep it up."
"Stay warm."
I also got the funny sarcastics remarks..
"You getting paid for that?"
"That should keep you outta trouble"

I feel more willing to help out in the community after a glorious snow shoveling day!

But, probably tomorrow I will complain of how bitchy the customers are :|

My boss had the snow plows build up a wall of snow to block off some area in our parking lot. Turns out the mound is too high and you cant see the store from the road.

I'm thinking he's an idiot for doing this in the first place and then...

"Get outside and make that mound 5 feet lower will ya"

I wanted to kick him in the teeth, but he's the boss (and owner) and I gotta be his bitch to get my damn paycheque.
 
hey i like shoveling snow too, people think its such hard work. . just as long as they don't mind watching me shovel in a t-shirt i don't care, I almost wish i hadda shovel snow year round, then i remember bikini's. . . drool
 
I like to shovel snow sometimes. Actually I like the idea of shoveling but when I have to get out there and do it I am thinking what the hell am I doing out here.

I shoveled off the driveway a couple of winters ago, but after shoveling half of it, and going inside to rest, I was told to get my ass out there and finish the rest of it. So, the answer to your question is no. 🙂
