shouldn't you refrigerate pizza bagels?

I got some delicious pizza bagels the other day and they don't refrigerate them at the store, so I figured I don't have to either. but there's all that mozzerella on them, and don't you have to refrigerate cheese?

There are some pizza breadsticks I buy that don't require refrigeration, but they last longer if you keep them in the ol' ice box. They don't even keep the pepperoni ones in a fridge.

So I dunno. I guess not. I haven't died of eating bad cheese.

Cheese will grow mold. Mold won't make you sick.

ok so bad cheese isn't harmful? I got curious about refrigerating the pizza bagels after I ate one where the gooey melted cheese in the middle tasted a bit funky. not awful, just more pungent than it did originally, sort of like the taste of parmesean or swiss or something

As long as it is only mold, it will not make you sick.
