Shouldn't T'Wolves be part of the Eastern conference?

Minnesota sports teams are all part of the western conferences. (well except for the Vikings - NFC North)

EDIT: actually the Twins too are in the AL Central.

The Wild and T-wolves are both in the western conference. As a former MN resident of 22 years, I side with the western conferences.

cuz if they were in the east, there would no reason for any other team in the east to play

Typically when the US is divided into east and west for purposes like this it is done so on a population basis, not on area. While Minnesota really isn't in the west, it is partially west of the Mississippi River and not really considered part of the east. Population, not land area.
