shouldn't the Jeep Wrangler be the most stolen vehicle of all time?

so I was driving in town couple of days ago, and saw this guy driving a Jeep Wrangler and I can see his entire body from head to toe. It got no doors! He could just fall off his car as I am typing right now.

Any car thief can just jump in, hot wire it, and drive away right? Even if the car wasn't stolen, anything like the CD stereo deck and personal property won't be safe on a Wrangler. So why isn't it the most stolen vehicle?

new question: to Wrangler owners:
wouldn't you feel annoyed that you cannot keep anything like loose change or CD albums in your car without the fear of them being stolen?

First, the doors are removable.

Second, access to the interior of any vehicle is extremely easy. That is merely a first line offense to ward off the most casual/amateur thiefs.

Jeeps are POS and a safety harzard. I think car thieves want something they can actually sell

Everything except a Geo, Daewoo, or Kia > Jeep :p

just as easily you saw the owner driving the jeep, is just as easy it would be to spot a thief going at it.

Well thieves would steal 'em, but then you'd get other thieves who'd wait for the first thief to stop at a light and then steal his freshly-stolen car. :p

Stuff is always stolen out of Wranglers. Mine constantly has the glove box and the ash trayed sifted through. I'm tempted to hide razor blades in there, but then I'd get sued.

My vote would be a bag full of dog poop. Or something with Nitric Acid in it, so it'll turn their hands funny colors.

I owned a Wrangler back in high school, many many moons ago. I had two attempts of theft from my vehicle. One, I caught red handed, and it wasn't pretty.

theives actually want to steal something that 1. runs 2. they can get money for parts , with a Wrangler you will not get either of these.
