Should we wait on the x1800 XT CF master card?

I was just looking over benchmarks between Crossfire and SLI and it's obvious that the x850 XT CF has quite some power.. and with the release of the 512 GTX it brings me to wonder what would happen if the X1800 XT CF card would do when facing the 512 GTX SLI. I mean the x850 XT CF is almost up there with the 256 GTX SLI and that was only the first generation without 5.11 catalyst. the performance gains are nearly 80~90% and it's right under the 256 GTX SLI... I seriously don't see nvidia coming out on top of this in an x1800xt cf vs 512 gtx sli duel.

I guess all that's left is to wait for the 1800 cf cards >_>
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

never wait if you have the $$$ and want the performance - now ;)

the "ultra" GTX wins most of the benchs [period]

Me . . . i'm waiting for a high-end card in AGP :p
[looks like ati willl be first]

I don't think anyone considering a 512MB GTX SLI setup would wait for CF.
I know I'm not waiting ;)

Personally, I'm going to wait to see how Crossfire releases pan out mid/late next year before I do anything about getting a Master card.
