Should votes be counted as replies?

My post "POLL: How old are you?" in the OT board is sure to get lots of votes (i think ), but no one would reply to it, because really, all its asking is how old are yoU? I think that the votes should be counted as replies, do you? Is this even possible?

Polling and replies are two completely different systems, polls do not count as message replies.

maybe in each users profile, it could have number of votes as well as msgs?
