I just installed Win2k and all the appropriate drivers for my hardware. I tried running UT, but it was very stuttery and froze after a little bit of playing. Is UT just not made to be run on Win2k or am I overlooking something?

No. I have the Asus 7700 Deluxe and I kind of need to use their video drivers to take advantage of some of the features of the card. This kind of sucks.

Are you overclocking -- Unreal engine games have had problems running with overclocked systems...

If you can't update your video drivers, have you installed the latest patch for UT?

Correction Uber Neuman, if your overclocked system is truely stable then UT won't be a problem. I have a PIII600@800 and it runs UT perfect on W2K. Now I have a PIII650@910 and it ran everything perfect EXCEPT UT!! So I dropped it down a notch to 865 and it runs perfect now. What that was telling me is that my system wasn't TRUELY stable at that speed. ;)

use the latest reference detonator2 drivers and it will work. There are problems with detonator3 and the via kt-133. disable agp4x in bios. disable fastwrites(will improve performance if disabled)
