Should this dinosaur be driven to extinction?

I've been using a 21" Viewsonic P815 for a few years now(yes i know it's a dinosaur!). I don't really have many complaints about it but i noticed that these are going for <$200 now. I play a lot of games and have a decent system w/ a Radeon 9700Pro. I'm wondering if it would be worth it to get rid of this thing and find a better, flatter screen crt monitor if i was only going to spend about $300 on another used one? Will i be able to find one for that price that will make it worth the trouble or should i just stick with the dinosaur until i'm ready to spend more money??

I'd ride that pony until its knees buckle, if there's nothing wrong with it why bother replacing it?

You will notice an improvement though with a nice 21" though. I went from a bubble to Sony flat, and it was good 🙂

If there's nothing wrong with it, run it into the ground. It's a good quality monitor and I doubt you'd notice THAT much difference by buying a new one. Especially at the price you'd pay for another 21".

I liked my curved screen : ( I could watch the tv behind me... tell when people were sneaking up on me : ( I don't see what's so great about flat screens. I'd stick with that one. All my monitors break in like 2-3 years so if you found one that works indefinitly it's a keeper.
