Should the www. make a difference ?

Both seem to go to an empty directory for me. How many posts are you going to create about getting your domain to work?

So basically 5easysteps.be is the domain and www.5easysteps.be is the subDomain.
no, 5easysteps is the Domain, .be is the root, www would be the name of the IIS or Apache server that hosts whatever site, unless you have the registrar redirecting without a specified server. (which happens but is not the best way to do it)

edit: your problems seem more likely to be an apache configuration issue, I can't really help with that as I'm only familiar with IIS. either way this really should be asked in the networking forums.

I intially used url fowarding and then added the domain to my host and waited for the DNS to propagate. It automatically created the www.5easysteps.be in the subdomain part and created a folder called 5easystep.be in file manager although I use FTP to upload files.

The www is the hostname.
i.e. the server the site is hosted on. for those that don't know.

"server"."sub-domain"."domain"."root"

Yes, but a domain can have an A record that points to a host too...

So does this anybody know how to fix this, I want them to both go to the same place.

They are both going to the same place.

Hmm they go to two different places for me. Maybe some server needs to be updated still.
