The decision up up to you
Yes or No
We would like it to be unanimous, since we really don't want to run a single person off the project.

I see zero reason why you shouldn't! Welcome back? (I'm also in the dark, but hey, the more the merrier!)

i didn't vote as i'm not sure its my place, but as a member of a mini team TAS i don't see any reason why not, aside from the "bad blood" that apparently developed at some point

but i'd certainly welcome you back :)

----------------------------------------------------------
Today the Rebel Alliance has made a hard choice.
We have reached a fork in the road, and are forging ahead in a new direction.
Where once we enjoyed the freedom to crunch when and where we wanted, this is no longer so.
Our teammates (who asked for help on their project) have asked that we not crunch together as a mini team.
This saddened us, but we respected their wishes.Somehow this was not enough,
some have seen fit to make this a personal vendetta against us.
In response to these ne'er do wells who threaten to take the fun out of Distributed Computing,
We have forged ahead to bring the fun back to the crunching of the Dimes project.
We have created a new team (currently ranked 19th in the stats) appropreately named the Rebel Alliance.
And we are continuing to help the project and make it fun for all members of the R.A.

Ne'er do wells beware, we have the freedom of choice.

I wrote that. I do not have any reason not to vote to come back to the TeAm. But like Jim said "It must be unanimous". I/We never wanted to hurt anyone on the TeAm. It is important to us, that we are allowed to help on any project at any time. It is also important to us, that you know we are not trying to take away any fun, in the stats or otherwise. We are/were only trying to help rally to the cause for the TeAm.

Thank you Jim  As always, you make this a great place to be.

You could have anyone come in here and vote. They don't even need to be a contributor to DC. If someone from the TeAm voted no I think it would be nice if they came and gave an explaination. If there is no explanation, I would assume it is someone trying to be funny that doesn't participate in DC much less this project.

I know RA had a rough time there earlier with this project, but my feeling is that you guys should come back. TeAm Enterprise is crunching this project and we are a mini-team. If anyone doesn't like it then that is tough. The only way a lot of the people Greg has lined up would crunch for the TeAm is as part of TeAm Enterprise. I know it is the same for you guys in RA. Besides there is nothing wrong with some friends with a common interest getting together and working as a mini-team.

What crazee said!

Sometimes I just pop into a vote on a CPU / cooler / gfx card question in the other forums as well and just give my opinion without really reading the whole thread. So I guess somebody could just come in here, see all the yes votes and then just click no for the sake of clicking no.

I'm waiting. :|

I have done a little snooping around and I don't think this was a TeAm member.

I do think it was a spy from another team who would like to keep the TeAm splintered.

If anyone doesn't have enough guts to back up their vote then it needs to be thrown out.

That NO vote is null and void as far as I'm concerned.

Seeing how it all went down first go around I wouldn't be surprised if that "no" was a serious one but I doubt anyone will post here as to their reasons as the feeling probably is that it has already been explained. Obviously it isn't the majority vote though!

I voted yes. I understand what went down before but as a long time member or a mini-team and a BIG TeAm I really see no difference. So RA get back in the fight where you/we belong!!!!!!

The sad smile was for the want of a unified team, all for 1 and 1 for all sorta thing :p

realizing I was leaving no explaination reminded me others can't read my mind. BTW I voted yes :)

Actually Mike would be the last one to cast a no vote. If there is anyone in all of the RA likely to cast a no vote it would most likely be myself.( I didn't vote at all bty)

Actually I checked the status of the "possible" people that might vote against this based on previously stated positions and none of them were ever online during the time period. Thought I'd mention this so no one gets thought of negatively that doesn't deserve it. ;)
