Yes, but Orlando lost it themselves (bad defense at the end when DFish hit the tying three, missed free throws).

Watch the replay, we already have a thread about this, and no, the elbow shouldn't have been called. Jameer just ran up to him and got hit while Kobe was already in the motion to pass.

No, the defender was all up in his space. Anywhere Kobe tried to move his arms would have resulted in that dude getting hit.

If you want to call that, then you should have called Pietrus' foul on Kobe's 4th shot of OT.

I had the ball in a similar situation one time. I spun as a guy collapsed hard on me. I didn't realize how close he came in and even tho I tried to raise the ball at the last second to avoid him with my elbow, I knocked his tooth out. He left the game and later people told me not to worry, he was a dentist. :D

either way orlando deserved to lose.

the 2 consecutive offensive boards that led to the fisher 3 was just inexcusable

Yep. The refs sucked for both teams, but Orlando's worst enemy was themselves.

No. Not only was Jameer Nelson in his space, Kobe did not extend his elbow out. If you're going to get that close, you'd better protect your face.

Orland missed 15 for the entire game.

They caught what the Lakers had all throughout the Rockets/Nuggets series.
